I often get asked about my favorite destination. Although I do have many “favorites” (favorite beach, favorite room, favorite pool, favorite swim-up pool bar, favorite spa, etc.), one of my very favorite overall destinations is Turks and Caicos. The first time I went was in 2007 with my family. I was mesmerized by the clear turquoise waters. It looks just as gorgeous in real life as it does on the stunning photos. Another reason that Turks and Caicos stole my heart is with the powder-soft beaches along Grace Bay and throughout the Turks and Caicos Islands.

I do love nice rooms and accommodations, and Turks and Caicos does not disappoint. The island even offers some all-inclusive resort choice options for those guests that want to lock their wallet in a safe and just enjoy. The island’s resorts offer a variety of room options from simpler to deluxe multi-bedroom suites. The different resorts can appease many types of travelers with rooms and services varying from basic to concierge-level rooms and some resorts even offer amazing butler service rooms. Turks-Caicos

Fun For All Ages

The resorts at Turks and Caicos have something for every age. This is popular for multi-generational travel appealing to all ages. We often see Grandparents taking their children and grandchildren along. Or is it the other way around? I have raised my three boys going to Turks and Caicos from the time they were toddlers and young boys to now being in their 20’s. It is still their all-time favorite spot as well. The Turks and Caicos Islands are also very accessible and available through many airline carriers. Most of the resorts are located on the island of Providenciales and are a short drive from the airport.

And what about those foodies? The food and service are also amazing. Do not miss a stroll down Grace Bay to the quaint café and bar called “Somewhere”. It offers the best jalapeño margarita that I have ever had! Along with the stunning laid back and quiet island life of Turks and Caicos, there are many activities to do on both land and water, from the famous Island Fish Fry on Providenciales on Thursday evenings to diving for live conch, sand dollars, lobster, beach picnics, underwater submarine adventures, reef, and bonefishing, touring Iguana Island, private boat charters, etc. I have been to Turks at least once a year since my very first trip, but most years I often visit the islands four times each year on average. The Turks islands have stolen my heart.

I do like to venture and experience different countries and islands and cultures, which I do as well. But, when I want an amazing trip experience, my “go-to” is to Turks and Caicos.
