✨ Shaman Ceremony in Peru ✨
Today I had the incredible honor of experiencing an authentic Peruvian shaman ceremony—one of the most spiritual, grounding moments of my life.

Performed by an Andean shaman (or “Paqo”), this ceremony is all about cleansing your energy, reconnecting with nature, and expressing gratitude to Pachamama (Mother Earth). 🌿
Using sacred plants, ancient prayers, coca leaves, and traditional offerings, the shaman guides you through a ritual meant to bring balance, clarity, and protection as you continue your journey.

✨ Machu Picchu… WOW. ✨
I’ve spent the last two days hiking, climbing, exploring, and soaking up every ounce of the magic that lives in this ancient citadel — and it absolutely lives up to the hype.

Perched nearly 8,000 ft. above sea level in the cloud forest of the Andes, Machu Picchu was built by the Inca Empire in the mid-1400s and miraculously remained hidden from the outside world for centuries. With over 200 structured terraces, temples, plazas, and agricultural areas, this place wasn’t just a city… it was an engineering masterpiece carved straight into the mountains.

A few incredible facts I learned along the way:
✅ It was constructed without wheels, animals, or iron tools — just pure human strength, precision, and creativity.
✅ Its stone walls fit so perfectly together that you can’t slip a credit card between them.
✅ The Incas designed it using astronomical alignments, and the Temple of the Sun still catches the winter solstice perfectly.
✅ Machu Picchu wasn’t “rediscovered” until 1911 by explorer Hiram Bingham.

Two days of trekking through cloud forests, walking ancient pathways, watching the mist roll over the peaks, and seeing llamas grazing around the ruins… it’s impossible not to feel small and completely enchanted.
